Teaching 2030, A Look at Public Schools and the Future of Education

Author: Mark Page Posted: 2012-07-23

This summer I read the book Teaching 2030. It is a conglomeration of ideas on how to better educate students for now and into the future. The book focuses on common issues that have plagued public schools for decades including standardized tests, unions, administration, and teaching training. Technology plays a role in all aspects and is seen as a solution to help elevate or solve some of the greater issues. The solutions posed in the book range from simple to very complex in their scope, but make for interesting potentials solutions that we can all participate in. Pick it up and take a look, it'll be worth your time.
