Chrome Pre-Installed Apps

Author: Mark Page Posted: 2013-06-05

If your school has a Google Apps account, you can now easily configure Chrome browsers with pre-installed apps. Google has added to the back-end management console some useful tools such as the pre-installed apps function. This allows an administrator to choose some pre-categorized apps to automatically be available on Chrome browsers where the user is logged into the school's domain.

This is a very efficient way to make sure that students have the online tools and can be part of any schools device management toolbox. Not only are there a ton of apps to choose from, but most are free, and many integrate with the core Google Apps such as Drive:)
