The theme for THE 2013 is 'Today, Tomorrow and Beyond: Innovation in Teaching, Technology and Learning.' the conference will be held in Doha, Qatar on the 
16th-17th of April, 2013.

THE conference is an opportunity for educators, IT professionals, and students to get together and discuss educational and technological advancements. The conference aims to encourage usage of technology in teaching and learning in higher education and facilitate the dissemination of knowledge on best practices and research in the area of academic technologies

Innovative Teaching & Learning with Technology - Led by Punya Mishra

Who? Punya Mishra was recently named as one of the ten most influential people in educational technology by the readers and editors of the Technology and Learning Journal. Punya is internationally recognized for his work on the theoretical, cognitive and social aspects related to the design and use of computer based learning environments. He has worked extensively in the area of technology integration in teacher education and jointly developed the TPACK framework.

What? Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) attempts to identify the nature of knowledge required by teachers for technology integration in their teaching, while addressing the complex, multifaceted and situated nature of teacher knowledge. At the heart of the TPACK framework, is the complex interplay of three primary forms of knowledge: Content (CK), Pedagogy (PK), and Technology (TK). This framework has been described as being “the most significant advancement in the area of technology integration in the past 25 years”

Where? Shanghai, Seoul and Singapore.
